Is it even possible to have a Tropical Hurricane in February in the Atlantic? Many would say no way; well until they lived thru the record breaking 2005 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season. The season that just would not quit, even ringing in the New Year with Zeta. Currently we have an interesting storm brewing in the Western Atlantic, in the middle of nowhere. What gives, is this a fore-bearing of things to come? Many battle ridden Gulf Coast veterans of the 2005 Hurricane season do not even wish to think about it. The Western Atlantic system could become better organized and turn into something of interest. Another named storm way out in the middle of the Atlantic in the middle of winter. Too interesting. I wonder how that is being made possible. Many are quick to state; It's climate change dummy! We have some really interesting patterns right now don't we? Perhaps we need to upgrade our Weather Super Computer to follow all of the climate change and global warming hunches to see if we can better predict what these storm systems may become. We need to keep an eye on this one. I think we will leave the "Weather Channel" on in the background as I work today and see if they mention it, because this is really something else. Could we get a Hurricane or Tropical Storm Alberto in February? Hard to say, stay tuned as this is going to be a very Season of Interest indeed. Consider this in 2006. |
