There are more and more women than ever getting breast implants. These numbers keep increasing each year as well and the ages of the women that are receiving the implants are getting younger and younger too. There are many pre adult girls that are getting the permission from their parents to have this serious procedure done. The increase of the health risks for breast implants does not seem to have any affect of the women that are getting them put in. Most of these women only see that they are going to have a sexier appearance and forget about what they could be doing to their bodies. Although there have been many successful breast implants surgeries, there have also been a few that have had awful outcomes that have meant serious heath effects for the women. There have been many women that have had their implants break inside them. This has led to the women getting them taken out or replaced. Every single breast implant surgery has risks regardless of the material that they are made of. Women that have the older style of implants should start to think about getting them replaced with the new material that is used in the breast implants. The surgical risks of breast implants include infection or forming a hecatomb. The risk of one or even both of the implants will have to be removed involves another surgery and the of course the costs of the surgery will still apply. Other important complications can stem from breast implants. Some women will lose feeling in their breasts, while others will become very sensitive. These problems can interfere with sexual pleasure for the woman. Not only are their serious healths factors there are also some cosmetic problems to deal with. Sometimes the outcome of the breast implants does not turn out to be what they have expected. Some women are very disappointed with the results of the surgery. It is also said that breast implants will interfere with the detection of breast cancer. The implants can obscure the mammography image of a tumor. Implants have the potential to delay the diagnosis of breast cancer. Mammograms tend to be less accurate if the woman had the breast implants. The bigger the implants, the harder it will be to detect the size and portion of the tumor. This is going to harm the women because they will not be detected early if they do have any cancerous tumors. By the time they are found, it may be too late for the proper treatment. It is important to at least know and understand all of the risks that are involved with breast implants. Women need to know what the potential dangers are so that they can make an informed decision about whether or not to have the breast implant surgery. |
