1) Magazines: Magazines are a great place to start, and super convenient if you find one if you like-- just tear it out and bring it to your stylist. 2) Your friends. They might feel a bit strange, but they shouldn't mind you taking a picture of them to take with if you really like their hair! They'll be quite flattered, too. 3) People Watching. Although it's a bit more awkward to get a picture of random strangers, it's still a good place to get basic ideas. From there, you could either describe it to your stylist or go out and try to find pictures of it elsewhere. 4) Websites: Websites can be a great resource for hair styles. Many sites have THOUSANDS of pictures, which can easily be printed out, etc. and brought to your stylist. If you can't print it, burn it to a disc and bring it to a photo development place and they'll be able to print it.
